Chestnut Hill, Copley Square and now... Tebet, South Jakart
We live in a neighborhood called Tebet that The Jakarta Post recently described as 'trendy' and 'bohemian'. Granted we live on the outskirts of the area, but we had no idea. Last weekend we made an attempt to find the 'cool' part. We did find a few interesting shops and things, but the big discovery was The Cheesecake Factory. Definitely not an authorized branch of the American chain with the same name, but similar to its Western counerpart in some ways. Decent food and good cheesecake by Jakartan standards (and yes, cheesecake is actually quite popular here).
