Haviva's back in town so that means we get to try the new restaurants I find while wandering around our neighborhood. Last night we went to the BBQ seafood place just down the street, past the rib place. Haviva did a fine job of ordering us one of the local specialties she had tried in Jayapura, a fish cut in half the long way, grilled and covered with all sorts of chillies, ginger and lemon grass. Fantastic stuff.
Tonight it is off to the Jakarta International Film Festival. Don't laugh, it's actually got quite an impressive lineup. We're hoping to see Leonard Cohen: I'm Your Man tonight, which we've heard good things about. Haviva's off again in the morning, but hopefully we'll get to see something else when she gets back.
